A few weeks ago, the Rockies showed off their new Spring Training hats.

I thought they looked pretty cool, but I was bummed because there was no link to a store and I couldn’t buy one.
But I have good news for anyone else who wanted one of those hats – I finally saw a link!
Here’s the link to those hats on MLB’s store – https://www.mlbshop.com/spring-training/t-3084+br-127+c-1740
I’m excited for my hat to get here!
But for now, let’s jump into the Rockies news from this past week.
Rockies Won 5 Games This Past Week

For Spring Training, there are 15 teams in the Cactus League.
And the Rockies are in second place. Pretty good start!
But to keep my expectations in check, I checked on the Rockies’ record from last year’s spring training – they finished at 17-15.
And then they had one of the worst regular seasons ever.
But either way, it’s still good to see the Rockies put up some wins!
Zac Veen Hits 468-Foot Home Walk-Off Home Run
On Monday, Zac Veen crushed a 468-foot home run to end the game.
Here’s a link to that clip for anyone who wants to see it.
And I’m not sure if there’s been a longer home run since, but this was the record for the longest home run during spring training this year.
This story wasn’t just about crushing home runs for the win – it was also about how Zac Veen went through a transformation this offseason.
Zac Veen has been struggling with addiction. And during this offseason, he got clean, and he put on 40 pounds of muscle.
It’s been a long road for him and it’s good to see him get another opportunity to play.
Hopefully, we’ll be hearing more about Zac Veen during the regular season too!
Charlie Condon Crushes Two Home Runs
Charlie Condon is the Rockies’ #2 prospect, and he’s off to a hot start this spring training!
In the past week, he’s gone 6-10 with two home runs.
Including this 449-foot home run to center field.
Great start to Spring Training!
Charlie Condon is probably one of the most talked-about prospects from the Rockies and he’s expected to make his MLB debut this year.
And so far, his Spring Training performance is helping his case for an MLB Debut.
His primary position is first base, but he also has experience in left field. So we’ll have to wait and see how the Rockies might utilize him in the lineup this season.
Rockies Have a 0.1% Chance of Making the Playoffs This Year
This isn’t the best news, but I’m also trying to keep a realistic outlook on the upcoming season.
FanGraphs came out with this image, which shows the chances of each team to make the playoffs this year.

Unfortunately, the Rockies are dead last with a 0.1% chance.
And if you look at the 2026 projections from PECOTA, the Rockies are projected to lose 101 games this season.
It’s kind of depressing, but I guess the good news is that the Rockies are projected to do much better than last year.
Rockies Season Ballpark Pass is Back for $199
I’m not sure how popular these season ballpark passes were, but they must have been popular enough for the Rockies to offer them again.
The Ballpark Pass allows fans to access every home game with standing-room-only tickets (basically, the Rooftop area). The only game that is excluded is opening day on April 3rd.
Prices for the season are $199. Prices per month are $39.99.
If anyone is interested, I’ll include this link to the Rockies’ Ballpark Pass information page.
