The Rockies ended the season with the worst record in the MLB, and the only team in the MLB to lose 100+ games. But one of their shining stars was TJ Rumfield. TJ Rumfield was the first Rookie in 100 years to lead the National League in on-base percentage! Which is a pretty great achievement. …
Well, the off-season is officially here. At least for the Rockies. The postseason just began and the Wild Card just finished, but we still have another 4 weeks left until the World Series wraps up. Postseason baseball is easily the best time for baseball! But during the off-season, the news tends to be quieter. So …
The Rockies have 3 games left to play this season, but they played their final game at Coors Field yesterday. Which means we already have some year-end stats for Coors Field attendance! This season, 2.2 million fans attended games at Coors Field, which is about 27,721 fans per game. Sounds like a lot, but that’s …
Happy Friday! I’m a little late to the party on this, but Chick-fil-A has been doing a Rockies promotion this month. Apparently, if you wear any type of Rockies gear to Chick-fil-A, they’ll give you one of these Rockies cups for free. Pretty cool! And they’re only doing this giveaway on 3 Saturdays this month …

Well, we almost made it to September this year. But as of yesterday, the Rockies have officially been eliminated from winning the NL West. The Rockies are not eliminated from the playoffs – at least not yet. But they can no longer win the NL West. The Giants are just 2.5 games ahead of the …
Last Friday and Saturday, the Savannah Bananas were playing at Coors Field. And if you went, you got to watch Ryan Spilborghs and Garrett Atkins take an at-bat for the Savannah Bananas! Nothing too crazy to report from these plate appearances, but it was pretty cool to see both of them get another chance of …
Happy Friday! The MLB All-Star Game has wrapped up, with the American League shutting out the National League 4-0. It was quite the pitching duel, too. There were a total of 27 strikeouts that game – which is exactly half of the 54 outs that were recorded for the entire game. Pretty crazy! And I …
Another week of Spring Training is in the books, and so is another walk-off home run by Zac Veen. In the first week of Spring Training, Zac Veen crushed this 468-foot home run to win the game against the White Sox. And last Friday, Zac Veen did it again by crushing this 447-foot home run …
